Your wedding is a day that you have spent many, many hours organising, getting all of the details just right. Typically there is over a year of preparation. On the day, there is just not the time to appreciate the end result properly - you are, of course, getting married. It would be a shame to not appreciate the end product, which is where your wedding video comes in handy. For some couples too, they are too nervous or excited to remember any of what happens on the day (other than the obvious!).
Wedding videos help jog your memory, and you can see exactly what happened during the preparations, and find that joke your dad thought was so funny during the speeches. Only a professional wedding video can get all of this with quality video and audio. Uncle Bob might do it for free, but shaky-cam is never a good thing, let alone on your wedding. If there are any errors you need fixing up in the footage, it can often turn into a much more expensive undertaking than you would have guessed.
Some people we speak to think that wedding videos and photographs are in competition with each other. That is not the case at all. They compliment each other. We can capture the words you say, and if you were crying, how you tossed the bridal bouquet and the garter, and all of the speeches. Photographs capture a moment in time - they come into their own after the ceremony is finished, and capture moments with family and friends you don't often see.
